We all knew the creative talent in this town was sweet.  Now we know how sweet.  At the District XI ADDY competition, a competition between the best of the local shows in Oregon, Washington, Alaska, Montana and Idaho, Seattle ad agencies and students took Best of Show in all categories.  This year, NW District ADDY judges evaluated over 560 entries.

Not only that but more than half of the finalists from this district that will move onto the national competition came from the Seattle market.  Not bad.  Not bad at all.  Following is a list of the big dog winners.

Best of Show Broadcast: Creature for “Claus: Santa’s Gone Centro” for Palm Centro.

Best of Show Print: Creature for “Pacifico” print campaign for Pacifico.

Best of Show New Media: Wunderman for “NBC Olympics” for Microsoft-MSN.

Best of Show Student: Elizabeth Fujiura from the School of Visual Concepts for “Lindora”

In addition to the Best of Show recognition, 62 Gold and Silver ADDY Awards were won by Seattle entrants. Northwest ADDY winners have earned the right to proceed on to the National ADDY Awards, which will be announced June 6 in Washington DC. A summary of the NW ADDY winners from Seattle is below.
